We're Here to Help

What is Quilt?

Quilt makes it easy for you to meet other women in your neighborhood to talk about things you care about. The Quilt community is diverse, made up of 30+ year old women who are going through change: entrepreneurship, breakups, motherhood. They come because they desire connection to other women and a safe place for breaking through boundaries, identities, challenges and hardships.

Who is a Quilt Host?

A Host is a Quilt member who cares about building an authentic community and bringing women together. She facilitates gatherings for two or more women, either at her home or at a local Quilt approved space of her choosing.

What can I expect?

A Quilt lasts between 1 and 3 hours. The length of a Quilt will depend on the maximum number of guests and the type of gathering experience. Once you RSVP, you’ll receive the address, parking instructions, and contact info for your Quilt Host. Please arrive on time to help limit distractions.

How can I make the most of my experience?

Say Hello: Introduce yourself on arrival. Your host will start introductions when the Quilt begins.

Speak Your Mind: This is a place for you to express yourself in a safe, supportive space.

Be Present: Silence or turn off your phone to fully immerse yourself in the offline Quilt experience. Don't worry, the Quilt app will automatically add all of your new connections as soon as you leave.

Continue the conversation: Connect with the women you just met offline by chatting with them on the Quilt app.

Where are you located?

Quilt is currently live in the following cities: Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York and looking to grow to new cities and towns this year. If we’re not in your neighborhood yet, join us for a Virtual Quilt or create an account to experience our online community.

You're not in my city. How can I connect with Quilt?

You are welcome to create a Quilt account to experience our online community or attend a Virtual Quilt. Just look for one that you like on our calendar, register, and you’re good to go. You can also sign up for our weekly newsletter, The Quilt Thread here. Don’t worry, we don't like spam emails either.

What are the different types of Quilt membership?

Quilt offers monthly (billed monthly) or annual membership (billed once). With a Monthly or Annual Membership, you’ll unlock unlimited offline and virtual Quilts and exclusive member-only perks. Both monthly and annual memberships also include friend passes, so you can welcome the women in your life into the Quilt community with you.

Can I pause my Quilt membership?

Yes, you can pause and come back to Quilt anytime.

What's a Quilt?

A conversation facilitated by a Quilt member either at her home or a Quilt-certified location such as a local coffee shop, park, or restaurant. Topics include: personal growth, entrepreneurship, leadership, money, spirituality, motherhood, wellness, and more. Quilts are intimate; meet up to 10 new women and connect over thought-provoking dialogue in a safe, supportive space. Walk away with new connections, and feel closer to yourself and your community.

Who can host a Quilt?

A Quilt member who has been participating in and hosting Quilt gatherings, aligns with Quilt’s values and mission, and wants to invite more women along for the journey.

Why is Quilt a membership-based community?

At Quilt, we’re building a movement, not a social club. We are a membership-based community because we believe that regular participation is what bolsters our movement. Relationships, whether we’re talking social, professional, or supportive, are sustained by the commitment to show up.

I’m trying to sign up, but my profile hasn’t been approved. What do I do?

Sit tight, the Quilt team approves new accounts to ensure community safety within 24-48 hours. Once approved, you'll receive a welcome note with next steps and will be able to sign up for as many Quilts as you'd like to attend.

I’m having an issue with the Quilt app. What should I do?

Share it with us by emailing the details to hello@wequilt.com. We appreciate any supporting details such as screenshots so that we can solve the issue as quickly as possible.

I have an Android. Can I still become a Quilt member?

Absolutely. We are working on the Android app for you. In the meantime, you are still able to engage in the life force of our community, which is our offline gatherings. You can register through our web app, receive all the email communication you need to stay connected and create your own gatherings as a host.
